February is shaping up to be a wonderfully varied and joyful month at Lyndhurst, filled with creativity, celebration, music, and seasonal fun for all to enjoy.
Dignity in Care & Our DIGNI-TEA Celebration
We begin the month with Dignity Action Day, followed by our much-loved DIGNI-TEA Party. This special event is always a meaningful and uplifting occasion, celebrating the importance of dignity, respect, and community within our home.
Winter Olympic Fun
This year we are hosting our very own Lyndhurst Winter Olympic Games! Residents will take part in fun activities such as Snowball Toss, with a closing ceremony later in the month to celebrate everyone’s efforts. It’s all about participation, laughter, and friendly competition.
Music, Movement & Entertainment
Music plays a big part in February’s activities, with Alexa Tunes, Tuesday Tunes, Film Club, Yoga, and Digital Interactive sessions throughout the month. We are especially excited to welcome Lee Patrick, also known as “ELVIS”, for a special Love & Friendship celebration performance.
Later in the month, the “Country Blues” Duo will also entertain us with live music to round off February in style.
Creative & Cultural Celebrations
Residents will enjoy Sewing Crafts Circle, Ceramic Tile Painting, Art Club, Baking & Cake Decorating, and Paper Lantern crafts as part of our Chinese New Year celebrations.
Shrove Tuesday will bring the fun of pancake decorating, while Horoscope Club and Famous Faces quizzes offer engaging and thought-provoking sessions.
Relaxation & Wellbeing
As always, wellbeing remains a priority. Residents can enjoy Manicures & Massages, Namaste Spa sessions, Mindful Mondays, hand putty exercises, and Home Church gatherings throughout the month.
February at Lyndhurst is full of warmth, creativity, celebration, and shared moments — even in the heart of winter.
