April brings a wonderful mix of seasonal celebrations, outdoor activities, and creative sessions here at Lyndhurst. As spring begins to bloom, our residents can look forward to a lively and uplifting month ahead.
Easter Celebrations
The highlight of the month is our Easter Party on Good Friday, featuring entertainment from Geoff Dean, our Easter Bonnet Competition, a Grand Raffle, and a delicious buffet tea. It promises to be a joyful and festive afternoon for everyone.
Over the Easter weekend, residents can also enjoy a relaxing Easter Monday matinee or take part in make-over sessions for a little extra pampering.
Spring Activities & Outdoor Fun
With the arrival of spring, we’ll be making the most of the outdoors. From Wednesday walkabouts and garden time to our Spring Garden Club, where residents can enjoy seed potting and planting activities, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the fresh air.
We’ll also be marking Earth Day with a special gardening session, encouraging everyone to plant a tree or shrub and celebrate the season of growth.
Entertainment & Wellbeing
Residents can look forward to a variety of engaging sessions throughout the month, including yoga, quizzes, bingo, skittles, and art club. Our regular pampering sessions such as manicures, massages, and the Namaste Spa continue to offer moments of relaxation and wellbeing.
We’re also delighted to welcome special visitors, including the Cuddle Club Dogs, bringing comfort and smiles to everyone.
Community & Outings
April also includes a special outing to our local pub, The Royal, to celebrate St. George’s Day – always a lovely chance to get out and enjoy time together in the community.
We round off the month with live musical entertainment from the “Country Blues” Duo, bringing plenty of energy and familiar tunes for everyone to enjoy.
April at Lyndhurst is all about fresh starts, connection, and enjoying the brighter days together.
