On Friday afternoon, January 3rd, Lyndhurst Rest Home came alive with the vibrant sounds of the Ukulele Fun Band. This fantastic 12-piece group brought energy and excitement, setting a cheerful tone for the New Year.
Featuring a mix of ukuleles, including a Bass Ukulele and a Banjolele, their performance was truly a treat for the ears. The room was filled with music, laughter, and singing, creating an unforgettable atmosphere that left everyone smiling.
Residents and staff alike agreed—it was the best concert we’ve ever hosted at Lyndhurst. The band’s charm and talent won over the hearts of all who attended, making it a memorable afternoon for everyone.
We’re thrilled to announce that the Ukulele Fun Band will return this summer for an outdoor performance in our garden, where even more people can experience their wonderful music.
