Here are a collection of the photos taken during our annual DIGNI-TEA PARTY, as part of Dignity In Care month. We always celebrate by hosting a variety of different events, one of which was held the day before this tea party – a Baking Workshop with the residents. During the workshop, residents baked all the cakes and tarts themselves, ready for our party the next day.
Our Light-Up Dignity Tree
We also created our very own “light up” Dignity Tree, shown at the end of the gallery. In our Discussion Group, residents talked about the meaning of “Dignity” to them, what makes them feel valued and special, and the things they enjoy having in their lives. Their thoughts were written on small white paper tags and hung on the Dignity Tree. It was a very comforting and empowering workshop.
